ANOAQA is a swift-response support network for A-Spec queer feminists, offering essential resources to women and non-binary human rights defenders and activists. It strengthens this solidarity networks and fosters vital connections, ensuring activists feel safe, supported, and empowered, especially during crises, fortifying their movements and advocacy efforts. At the heart of our work is the ANOAQA Helpline, dedicated to addressing the specific challenges faced by the asexual, aromantic, and LGBTQIA+ communities. We place a strong focus on mental health support, suicide prevention awareness, and fostering inclusive spaces for those who are marginalized within these communities.
Our current objective is to raise $1,00,000 through crowdfunding, donations, grants, individual patrons, and year-round organizational sponsorships. These funds will help us sustain our Aro Ace literature, education, and news blog, which elevates the voices of A-Spec queer individuals across Asia and the Pacific. Additionally, the funds will enable us to continue supporting human rights defenders in regions where civic spaces are under threat.
We warmly invite you to contribute. Donations are accepted in US dollars, with conversion rates provided by your financial institution. Your support is crucial in sustaining our work, ensuring that A-Spec queer activists have access to the resources and care they need to thrive.
